End of Fall 2006
Well, first semester ended last week and my grades suck. I'll have to do better this upcoming semester. I still don't have a new job, so I'll have to put more applications out. I hate being sick!!!

Lost Job 1
Well this sucks. I just got fired from my first job. It was my own fault of course, I was missing my shifts and taking shifts on other days did not make-up for that. True the reasons were good- I was sick, thus should not be working around food, I missed the bus, that's a two hour ride- but that does not change the fact that I should have been there and I wasn't. I should probably look for a job closer to home.
School Anxiety
I'm probably so behind in my schoolwork; I've been out ill for a week. I think I'm going to need a tutor.

Migraine & A Book Rec.
So I'm into my second week of college and really behind on my homework. I had to skip school today just to catch up with it, and I had a migraine. Anyway, college has been fun so far even if I am a bit behind.
The freshmen at BSU got assigned a book called Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder. Has anybody else read it? Its a really good book about a Doctor named Paul Farmer and his work with TB and AIDS in Haiti. You should read it. And maybe look into his organization Partners in Health.

Eating a very rich chocolate cake after swallowing pool water, then drinking alcohol and stuffing yourself with pizza is a very good way to get sick.

Pirates of the Carribean Crossover Fic Challenge
Another idea of mine is to bring the Black Pearl and crew into Tortal during 'The Immortals' saga. Preferably, but not necessarily the crew from Dead Man's Chest.

Ok so last night I saw the new movie PotC:Dead Man's Chest, which I really liked except for the ending. Anyway, I had the thought 'What if Jack's compass won't work because the desire closest to his heart is both freedom from Davy Jones and having Will Turner as his own'
So the challenge is this:
Write a story in which Jack achieves both desires. And while its not necessary to kill Elizabeth you do need to some how write her out of the story or with someone else. No bashing! Even if I do think Elizabeth is a bitch.
